20200820 WRITING - DAY 15 (9 SUBJECTS - NUMBER 3)

 Here's my list of subjects:

1. 👌RIGHT WRITE (rather, WRITE RIGHT) (or, WRITING RIGHT)
2. 👌Why didn't I ever have a dream?
3. 👌Dr. Pruitt
4. Travels with Ancel
5. Why are there ants on my arms and legs, and in my bed???????
6. How I became a Democrat
7. When did I give up my identity?

I might add more later.  But I'm thinking about just vomiting out words about each one of these, one a day, for a week.  At least it'll give me some sense of whether they're are viable subjects for me.

Reporting for work (8:17 AM)

Dr. Pruitt

(maybe I should change his name, but hey, that IS his name.  "It is what it is.")

A sately and slow-moving figure walked out of the large meeting room that Thursday night.  He used a cane to steady himself as he made his way across the floor and down a few steps.  His _____-(color) topcoat (too warm for So Cal) and his _________ (style) hat completed the picture.  Beneath that style & image lay a myriad multitude complex weaving of 73 years of riotous living.

Looking back on what happened over the last 6 years, indeed over his whole life, I'm led to wonder what brought Dr. Pruitt to speak to me as we walked out of the building.

In short, that day, he offered me a job, which I accepted a few days later.  He apologized for being only able to pay me $20 and hour.

(this is a huge task which will take much more time than I'm allotting to this "writing exercise" every morning.)
